In 2002 we became Simple Internet Technologies, a creative rich media and interactive displays company who not only work in web technology but multimedia design as well. We employed our first developers to create the first of our products, a Content Management System to build websites for our clients. Since these early days several developers have created various products for our clients upon request, all with the same basic principal - they need to support great design and function.
As we implemented our products, with a focus on Branding and Design, our clients were constantly telling us how there are no communications companies that understood the needs of small business. Alternatively they could not afford the management fees of some of the bigger marketing agencies, who although fantastic at what they did were predominantly set up for big business.
Simple ID are one of the few companies who can proudly boast an 80% client retention rate. Some of our clients have been with us for more than six years.
As time passed so did the needs of our clients who had been with us for years and we evolved with them, finally employing more designers and marketers than developers. In 2005 Simple ID began creating almost as many pieces of marketing collateral, print collateral and graphic designs for clients as we did websites. After many years of creating fantastic graphics, in 2006 Simple Internet Technologies finally became Simple ID - a name more synonymous with our brand and offering.
Simple ID now predominantly employs graphic designers to ensure all our work is 100% visually appealing to our clients. This is not to say it is appealing to everyone, but we never finish a job with a client unhappy with their design. By using modern technologies, our designers can easily create technological masterpieces.
What once required expensive developers can now be done by our designers, and it looks and functions hell of alot better. Backed up by technical developers our clients benefit from the best of both worlds.
Today, the Creative Director of Simple ID, with ten years experience in multimedia, design, and branding, employs several designers in our Melbourne office, to create stimulating visual designs across a broad range of media. We have specialised staff in Interface and Web Design, Multimedia Design, Corporate Branding, Packaging and Communications Strategy. We like to think of ourselves as the first true creative communications agency in Melbourne, set up for medium business who just want a job done, without the headache associated with it.
In 2009 we carry on the traditions which have built our company up over the past ten years. We create stunning designs to be used for the explicit purpose of communicating to specific target audiences with pre-defined goals.
